Hafezzi charitable skill development: A new hope for youths
A A

In a time when millions of educated young people are struggling to find jobs, moving from one place to another with their certificates in search of opportunities, a new hope has emerged. The Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh is stepping forward with a strong and reassuring message: “Stop. We are here.”

While Israeli bombs continue to reduce Gaza to rubble, while children cry beneath the debris of their homes and starving mothers weep in silence, Hafezzi Charitable Society has been there, on the ground, delivering flour, clean water and emergency medical supplies to displaced families in refugee camps. Covered by international media including Al Jazeera and the BBC, HCSB’s humanitarian presence in Gaza has drawn global attention and earned the respect of the international aid community.

Equally, in war-torn and famine-stricken Sudan, where armed conflict and displacement have pushed millions to the edge of survival, Hafezzi has delivered iftar packages, food assistance and Eid relief to suffering families. Through formal coordination with Egyptian humanitarian organisations and a Memorandum of Understanding with the Egyptian Youth Council, the Society has firmly established itself as a credible actor in international humanitarian diplomacy.

Yet Hafezzi’s vision extends far beyond emergency relief. The same organisation that feeds the hungry in Gaza and comforts the displaced in Sudan now turns its attention homeward, to the unemployed youth of Bangladesh. Because Hafezzi believes that standing beside the oppressed across the world and creating dignified pathways for one’s own people are equally sacred responsibilities.

It is from this conviction that Hafezzi Charitable Society has joined hands with MBA Times, a leading Islamically conscious media outlet committed to truthful and principled journalism, to establish a comprehensive Skill Development Centre. This is no ordinary training facility. It is a factory of dreams.

The Centre offers carefully designed courses in language and literature, presentation skills, journalism, computer graphics, video editing and spoken English. But beyond technical competency, the Centre is nurturing something deeper, principled citizens, ethical thinkers and a generation equipped to earn through halal means and serve society with integrity.

Hafezzi’s work within Bangladesh is equally multidimensional. Across remote and underserved communities, the Society operates medical assistance programmes, bringing healthcare to patients who have never known its basic comforts. Through its self-reliance project, families are not merely handed aid but are empowered with tools, training and income-generating opportunities to reclaim their dignity and rebuild their lives.

For persons with disabilities and those with special needs, Hafezzi distributes wheelchairs, rehabilitation support and assistive resources. Its madrasa-based initiatives for visually impaired students reflect a vision of inclusion rooted equally in faith, ethics and humanity.

Observers note that HCSB’s extraordinary scope, spanning humanitarian relief, healthcare, empowerment, disability welfare and human capital development, represents more than organised charity. It represents a living social movement, a moral commitment to leave no one behind, and an unwavering pledge to build a more just and luminous society, from the streets of Gaza to the villages of Bangladesh.
