Four Books Of Haider Basunia And Shahazada Basunia Published

Four poetry books of Haider Basunia and Shahazada Basunia have been published in the ‘Amar Ekushey Book Fair’ this year. The books are available at stall no.

475-478 of Bishhoshahitto Bhobon.

Haider Basunia has written two books named Amogh Sayanno and Hongso Songlap O Rongin Chosma while Shahazada Basunia has penned two books as well, namely Joltoronger Choya and Satkahon.

Born in Kurigram in 1939, Haider Basunia completed his BA degree from Gaibandha College. Then, though he had the opportunity to join government job, he opted for teaching owing to his desire to lead an honest life. Later, Haider completed MA degree in Bangla Language and Literature from Rajshahi University. Besides his teaching profession, he has written 50 novels, seven dramas and six books of poetry.

On the other hand, Shahazada Basunia is the son of renowned novelist Haider Basunia. He has years of teaching experience at the college and university levels. He loves to write in his spare time. Shahazada has already published a good number of books. Books such as Jagiya Uthilo Pran (novel), Dorponey Tumi (poetry), Deshey Deshey Jatiyo Kobi (essay) have already achieved laurels from different corners.
