Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina says development of Bangladesh halted after assassination of Bangabandhu in 1975

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday said the overall development of Bangladesh halted after the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 15 August in 1975.

 

She came up with the statement while addressing a rally to mark Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Hay, at Suhrawardy Udyan on Tuesday.

 

She said if that was not happen Bangladesh would have become a developed country by 30 years.
