Biman Bangladesh wins award from Kuala Lumpur airport

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has won the prestigious ‘Foreign Airline of the Year-2015’ award from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Malaysia.

 

This award is given by the KLIA Management, based on highest passenger carried between Kuala Lumpur and South Asia sectors.

 

Country Manager of Biman to the Malaysia Mohammed Salahuddin received the award recently from YB Dato’ Seri LiowTiong Lai, Minister of Transport, Malaysia at a grand gala dinner awards ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur.

 

KLIA is one of the busiest airports in the world. It handled 4 crore 89 lac 38 thousand and 424 passengers and 3 lac 54 thousand and 519 flights in 2015.

 

This coveted award and honor for Biman Bangladesh Airlines is an example of the Biman’s growing business and services in south-east Asia sectors.

 

It may also be mentioned here that Biman earned this rare feat ‘Foreign airline of the year’ award from KLIA also in 2011 and 2014.
