Bangladesh Women's cricket team will face South Africa Women's side in the 1st match of first ever five-match ODI series against any nation at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Thursday.
The match will start at 9:30 am (Bangladesh time).
Bangladesh won one game by two-wickets over South Africa in their 1st meeting in September 2012 in Mirpur, but lost in the remaining five tussles of their previous occasions.
The visitors arrived in Dhaka on Monday afternoon and reached Cox's Bazar on Tuesday morning.
The remaining matches of the series will be held at the same venue on January 14, 16, 18 and 20.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced 'Walton Group' as the title sponsor of the series. BCB director and Women's Wing Chairman MA Awal Chowdhury announced the title sponsor name in a press conference at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
