This is how you can download and share videos on YouTube offline

Google launched an offline version of its popular video streaming app called YouTube Go in September last year. The app is designed for areas with limited or poor data connection and allows users to download videos that can be viewed later offline.

However, so far Google has limited the release of its app.

It selected a few countries and the app is yet to be launched in Pakistan. Luckily, android users can still avail YouTube’s online version by simply installing YouTube Go APK for free from APKMirror.

As with any APK file, users would have to change default security settings on their phone to allow for third party apps to be installed. However, users are advised to switch off the feature once they have downloaded the app.

After linking their number, users can browse videos on YouTubeGo and download them as well. The app also provide an option to choose between basic and standard quality, and whether to play a video now or save it for offline viewing later on.

Furthermore, users can also send downloaded videos to nearby users and friends without an internet connection.

Downloaded videos are saved in a tab placed at the top corner of the app and a pop also shows users how much free space they have left on their smartphone.

However, it is worth mentioning that not all videos available on YouTube can be downloaded as the option may be disabled for some videos by their owners.
