A Dhaka court on Tuesday framed charges against Maulana Saidur Rahman, former ameer of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and two of his associates, in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge court passed the order and fixed March 24 for starting the trial.
The court also has ordered transferring of the case to no 6 special judge court.
The other accused are Abdullahel Kaderi and his wife Ayesha.
They were arrested from a house at Kadamtali in the city on May 25,2010 on charge of planning subversive activities. Huge jihadi books were recovered from their possession.
