NSU celebrates 1st Falgun

North South University (NSU) celebrated the arrival of spring organising different traditional cultural shows on the 1st day of Falgun 1423.


The Shangskritik Sangothon of North South University arranged a colorific event to represent NSU with a festive look.


The Spring Fest initiated with vibrant Rally and later the event proceeded with Baul-Gaan,Traditional Dance performance, Circus, Fair, Jaatrapala etc. Thousands of students participated in the event wearing colorful festive attire.


The program commenced with the fascinating Rally led by Gour Gobinda Goswami, Treasurer, NSU.


Meanwhile, students enjoyed playing melodious Dhaak-Dhol, Ektara and Flute celebrated the ecstasy of the event. At the end of the rally the guests of the Spring Festival visited different traditional crafts and beverages stalls, inside the campus.


Prof. Emdadul Haque, Director, Student Affairs, Md. Shahjahan, Registrar, Syed Kamrul Islam, Proctor and Brigadier General Md. Saber, ndc, psc, G (Retd.), Director (Administration), Belal Ahmed, the university’s Spokesman and Deputy Director (PR) and Ismat Hossain, Faculty Advisor, Shangskritik Sangothon, NSU were also present at the programme.
