Indian foreign secretary Subrahmanyam Jaishankar will arrive in Dhaka on 23 February on a two-day official visit by the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart M Shahidul Haque.
The two foreign secretaries will discuss bilateral issues between the two countries, according to a press release by Foreign Ministry.
They are also expected to discuss the proposed visit of prime minister Sheikh Hasina to India.
During the visit, the Indian foreign secretary will call on prime minister Sheikh Hasina and foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali.
Jaishankar will leave Dhaka on 24 February.
