Mosharraf Karim plays Margaret O Chondi

Seasoned actor Mosharraf Karim has acted in another romantic play styled Margaret O Chondi Kathak.

 

The actor has paired up with model-actress Brishti Islam the play under the direction of MI Jewel.

 

The duo recently stood before camera for the play scripted by Doyal Saha at different shooting locations in Gazipur.

 

Brishti said, “I felt a little bit of nervous as Mosharraf Karim is a great artiste. But his supportive attitude made me feel comfortable.”

 

Mosharraf has essayed the role of Chondi while Brisgti has played the role of a Christian girl named Margaret in the play.

 

“The play is expected to be aired on a satellite television channel of the country very soon,” said Jewel, the director of the play.

 

K M Mosharraf Hossain, known as Mosharraf Karim, is a Bangladeshi television and film actor.

 

Karim expressed his acting skill developed through his early work in the school theater.

He joined the theater troupe Nattokendro in 1986 and worked for 15 years.

 

After over a decade in theater, Karim emerged on the small screen in 1999, with the single-episode TV play Atithi, directed by Ferdous Hasan and aired on Channel i.

 

Later on, he has worked in different plays, telefilms and drama serials including Vober Hat, 420, Kyarom and Ghor Kutum.

 

Karim acted in his first film Third Person Singular Number, with co-artist Tisha in 2009. He also acted with Bengali film Daruchini Dip directed by Toukir Ahmed.

 

Brishti Islam is a Bangladesh model-actress. She has so far acted in some 15 TV commercials like Ashfaq Bipul’s SMC Energy Drink, Tito Rahman’s directed RFL Flux and ACI Salt, Amlan Biswas’ Motor Bike and Partho Pratim’s Symphony Phone.

 

Brishti made her debut in acting by acting in a feature film styled Safia directed by Masudul Hasan.

 

As a model, Brishti first worked in a TVC of Samsung Mobile directed by Ashfaq Bipul.

 

A girl from Pabna, Brishti is studying BBA in a private university of the country.
