Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad on Friday said his party will form an alliance with 25-30 political parties this month.
The JP boss disclosed this to the reporters at his 'Palli Nibash' residence in Rangpur city.
The former military ruler is now in Ranpur on five-day visit.
"We'll announce a combine by this month. There'll be 25-30 parties in the coalition.Five of them have registration with the Election Commission," Ershad told.
The Jatiya Party chief also described the Supreme Court's verdict positive that asked the government to return around Tk 615 crore collected from different business conglomerates and individuals during the army-backed caretaker government.
He also opposed the demand of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh for removing the Greek sculpture installed in front of the Supreme Court, saying the statue is not Greek goddess.
Meanwhile, Ershad will address a press conference to be arranged by city unit Jatiya Party in the city on Saturday.
