Perera departs after hitting fifty, Sri Lanka 318/9


On the fifth day of second cricket test against Bangladesh at Colombo, Sri Lanka resumed their second inning at the overnight score of 268 for 8 on Sunday.


They resumed the day with a lead of 139 runs with two wickets in hand in the second and last Test of Joy Bangla Cup series at P Sara Oval, Colombo on Sunday.


Dilruwan Perera and Suranga Lakmal were on batting, scoring 126 off 92 balls and 16 runs off 17 balls respectively.


On the other hand, Bangladesh will look forward to wrap-up the Sri Lankan innings as early as possible and start batting to chase down the target to ensure an overseas victory in their landmark 100th Test. 


Bangladesh's cutter Master Mustafizur Rahman and experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan shared the six-wicket equally conceding 52 and 61 runs respectively to squeeze Sri Lanka's batting line on the 4th day .
