The government has decided to give training on cyber security to around 10,000 girl students from 40 schools across the country.
Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division will implement the training programme on 'Cyber Security Awareness for Women Empowerment'.
Controller of CCA Abul Mansur Mohammad Saraf Uddin stated this at a press conference held at Bangladesh Computer Council auditorium of ICT Tower in city's Agargaon area, reports BSS.
Deputy Controller of CCA Abdullah Mahmud Faruq and Director General of Four D Communications Limited Abdullah Al Imran, among others, were present.
Mansur said the State Minister for ICT Division will inaugurate the programme at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Auditorium of Dhaka University tomorrow at 9 am.
After inauguration, the training programme will begin with the participation of around 600 female students from four schools of the capital.
The programme will continue till May 28 across the country, he added.
