Results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under 10 education boards across the country will be published on Thursday.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will announce the results at 12:30pm today at a press briefing to be held at the conference room of ministry of education, says a ministry press release.
Nahid will handover the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:00am today at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), official sources said.
Results will be available on the websites of the respective boards and respective educational institutions. Examinees will be able to get the results through mobile phone SMS.
This year, 17, 86,613 students participated in the examinations from 10 education boards across the country.
Of them, 9,10,501 were male students and 8,76,112 female students.
However, 14,25,900 students appeared in the SSC examinations under eight education boards.
Some 2,56,501 students participated in the Dakhil examinations, while 1,04,212 students took part in the SSC vocational examinations.
