3-Day seminar on Philosophy of Bengal begins at JU

A three-day seminar on 'Tracing the Origin, Nature and Development of Philosophy of Bengal' began on Saturday at Philosophy Department seminar room on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus in Savar, Dhaka. 

JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Farzana Islam inaugurated the seminar as chief guest. The seminar is being organized by Philosophy Department, said a JU press release.

Vice-Chancellor of Sanskriti College and University of India Professor Dilip Kumar Mohanta and Professor of Fine Arts of Assam University Anjan Sen attended the seminar, among others.

 

JU Pro-VC Professor Dr Abul Hossain, Treasurer Professor Dr Abul Khair, Arts and Humanities Faculty Dean Professor Dr Mozammel Haque and former Rajshahi University Professor Hasan Azizul Haq addressed the function as special guests while Philosophy Department Chairman Professor Md Tarique Choudhury in the chair. 


JU Philosophy Department Professor Dr Kamrul Ahsan moderated the function.
