Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited has declared the commencement of 22nd Berger Young Painters’ Art Competition (BYPAC).
The declaration was come through a Press Conference held at Gulshan Club (Lamda Hall) on Saturday (May 13).
Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, Senior General Manager-Sales & Marketing, Berger Paints, AKM Sadeque Nawaj, General Manager-Marketing, Berger Paints, veteran artist and Chairman of the Jury Committee, Monirul Islam and Secretary of Jury Committee, Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Professor Nisar Hossain were present in the press conference.
The winners of 22nd BYPAC will participate in an art workshop at the University of Rabindra Bharoti, Kolkata in addition to prize money.
Renowned artist, Mahmudul Haque will be honoured with the Life-Time Achievement Award in this year’s BYPAC programme for his outstanding contribution in the field of art and culture.
Besides, an exhibition will be organised the top 40 paintings of BYPAC 2017.
Berger Young Painters’ Art Competition (BYPAC) has entered into its 22nd year in 2017. This art competition has earned the recognition through its continuous process of cheering the young talents to explore their creative minds.
In this historical journey, BYPAC has been promoting young artists by giving them the platform to showcase their talents since 1996.
