Explosives kept beneath 2 hideouts in Jhenidah

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) said explosives have been kept under the ground of the two militants hideouts at Chudanga village in Jhenidah sadar upazila.

The law enforcers have cordoned off the house from early Tuesday.

The law enforcers have conducted a drive at the  hosue of slain militant Tuhin’s brother Salim and his cousin Pranto, said Jhenidah camp commander  of Rab major Monir Ahmed.

The two houses were under observation after killing of militants Abdullah and Tuhin.

Nobody is allowed to come near the hideouts, he said. Rab’s bomd disposal unit are coming to Jhenidah from Khulna to defuse the explosives.

But the Rab official did not confirm whether any militants are staying in the house.
