Sabbir falls after Tamim, Soumya completes fifty

Bangladesh scored 96 for two after 20 overs against New Zealand in the 3rd match of the Ireland Tri-Nation Series at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground, Dublin on Wednesday.

Soumya Sarkar was batting on 56 and Mushfiqur Rahim on 10.

Earlier, the opening stand between Tamim and Soumya played well and scored 72.

Tamim was watchful and played second fiddle to his more aggressive partner. Soumya took the attack to the New Zealand bowlers after Bangladesh were asked to bat first.

Soumya was quick to pounce on the bowlers and kept the scoreboard moving at a reasonable rate.

New Zealand captain Tom Latham won the toss and decided to field first against Bangladesh.
