DIA ICT fest held

A day-long festival titled ‘ICT Fest-2017’ was held at Daffodil International Academy (DIA) in the capital recently.
DIA Programming Club organised the festival, says a press release.

The festival included seminar on entrepreneurship, round-table on freelancing, programming competition, software project showcasing, programming, gaming and quiz contest.

Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Family, inaugurated the programme while Md Shahinur Alam, President of DIA Programming Club, presided over the inaugural ceremony.

Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director, Md Sarwar Hossain Mollah, Deputy Academic Director, DIA, Shoeb Mohammad, Country Ambassador of Payoneer, Sharif Md Shajahan, Rubel Hamza and Ratul Dev delivered encouraging speech to the participants.

Kazi Sanghati Sowharda Haque, Senior Lecturer, DIA and Md Azizur Rahman, Lecturer of DIA played the role of mentors of the ICT fest.

A total of 250 student-learners participated in the event where 15 IT projects were showcased. The ICT fest tagged along with Cross Border Payment Solution Payoneer.

The event was concluded with an award presentation ceremony.
