Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday said the BNP should talk less as various plots, including one to kill AL President Sheikh Hasina, had been hatched at the office.
The AL leader made the comment in a reaction to BNP's criticism over the recent raid on its chairperson's Gulshan office, UNB reports.
"It'll be better for BNP not to dig out again various conspiracies hatched at that office during the BNP regime," he said.
Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister was talking to reporters after visiting the Dhaka-Aricha highway at Hemyatpur to see for himself the condition of the road ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
He further said now there is no 'Hawa Bhaban' in the country like that of BNP, and the country is being run by a strong elected government, led by Sheikh Hasina.
Hailing the High Court verdict rejecting a petition filed by Khaleda Zia for quashing the proceedings of Barapukuria coalmine corruption case, he said the BNP chief is now trying to skip the trial proceedings on various grounds.
Pointing at BNP's 'Vision 2030', Quader said it has already started manifesting the magic of the vision as its men indulge in infighting when the leaders go outside Dhaka.
Local MP Dr Enamur Rahman and local leaders and activists of Awami League and Jubo League were present at that time..
