3 bodies recovered in Narayanganj Saturday

Police recovered three bodies from different areas of Siddhirganj of Narayanganj city on Saturday.


Of them, two allegedly committed suicide over family feud and one was killed in a road accident in the area, police said.


Mahzarul Islam, sub-inspector of Siddhirganj Police Station, said the law enforcers recovered the hanging body of Rashida Akhtar Rabeya, 19, wife of Abdul Malek from Natun Ailpara area of Siddhirganj at around 12pm.


She used to live with her husband at a rented home in the area. Her husband, hailing from Nayakandi village of Homna upazila in Comilla district, is a hawker.


Police suspect that Rabeya committed suicide over family feud.


Meanwhile, police recovered body of Rahima Begum, 60, who was killed in an accident on Shimrail-Narayanganj road at Chowdhury bus stand area around 10am, SI Mahzarul Islam added.


Rahima Begum, wife of late Nil Mia of Mirganj area under Nabinagar Thana of Brahmanbaria district.

She used to live in Banasree area of the capital.


She was coming to visit her son's home at Chowdhurybari Tatkhan area of the city, he added.


Jahangir Hossain, another sub-inspector of the Siddhirganj Police Station, said police recovered the hanging body Billal Hossian, 27, from Mijmiji Basuhazi market area of the city around 9am.


Police suspected that he has committed suicide over family feud.


Billas was son of Ruhul Amin Munshi of Panipara area in Chandina upazila of Comilla district.
