Mount Everest conqueror Musa Ibrahim has got stuck at an impassable mountain range in Papua New Guinea for four days amid inclement weather.
According to the Facebook status of State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed Shahriar Alam, Musa along with an India mountaineer has been stranded there for four days.
The helicopter will start for the mountain once the weather condition improves," Shahriar added.
"They have food. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Embassy in Indonesia has arranged a helicopter to rescue the Bangladeshi mountaineer.
The State Minister urged everyone to pray for Musa and other mountaineers who got stuck there, adding ASEAN authorities and Indian Embassy in Indonesia have been working with the Bangladeshi ones to carry out the rescue operation, reports UNB.
