Tamim denies hate crime allegations

Mystery ran wild after Tamim Iqbal’s announcement of returning home shortening his Essex season in English County cricket.

The hard-hitter batsman left English County Club Essex owing to personal reasons after playing a single match.

After that it was reported in several media that he was targeted of attempted hate crime.

Keeping his fans out of such speculation the 28-year old batsman informed through social media that it was totally wrong and he cuts his season due to some personal reasons.

In a post on his verified twitter account he said “I want all my fans and well wishers to know that I cut short my season with Essex to come back home early for personal reasons. Some media reported that we were the target of attempted hate crime.

This is really not true.”

Some reports of attempted hate crime against my family NOT true. Season at Essex shortened for personal reasons.#lovecricketinEngland
