Nasir Hossain, all-rounder of Bangladesh National Cricket Team, on Sunday said that the change in mindset of the players is the most significant which helps the team for success.
All-rounder Nasir Hossain came up with this remark while speaking with the reporters as he came out after finishing day’s fitness work out.
Ahead of the Australia series, Bangladesh team continues their fitness camp at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS). The players participated in the gym and later had a net session on Sunday.
Explaining the importance of ongoing fitness camp, Nasir said, “Not only a cricketer, but also a sportsman or someone outside of sports also needs to maintain their fitness. As we are players, fitness help us 60% to perform well. So far we are doing great in this regard. If we can continue this fitness camp well in the next 2-3 weeks, then it will help us as we have many games in the upcoming days. It will also help us to be in a good physical shape in the next one year.”
Nasir also pointed on the significant change in the player’s mindset which helps the team for success.
“The big change in our team is the confidence. All are playing to win. No one thinks to lose regardless the opponent. All are working hard. Players are parctising personally as well. Beside the main practice, many players spend time on net for batting and bowling. I think all the players are always giving their 100% for the team.” he added.
