It was not too long ago when Deepika Padukone touched hearts when she read a loving letter by her father at an award function. Now, the letter has found its way into a school syllabus!
It was in 2016, the actress read the letter from her father, Prakash Padukone, as an acceptance speech on receiving the Best Actress award for her performance in Piku. Her father had penned his heartfelt words for his daughters Deepika and Anisha Padukone. The letter became a mentor of their lives who is their guiding angel. And, Deepika took the opportunity to share the emotional treasure she valued all her life.
The letter remains a testimony of the bond Deepika shares with her father. While the emotional words are still fresh in many minds and hearts, a chapter in school syllabus is solely dedicated to the letter. The letter has found a place in the 12th Standard Gujarat Board's syllabus.
A fan took to Twitter to make Deepika aware of the chapter dedicated to the letter -- Letters from a father.
