"As per the biopsy results, she has a tumour in her blood vessels on the right hand and the surgery will be conducted to remove it," Dr M Mahbubur Rahman of Surgery Department of the DMCH told BSS.
Muktamoni, a 10-year-old girl of Kamarbaisa village in Satkhira sadar upazila, was admitted to the public hospital on July 11 with a malignant growth on her right arm.
When Muktamoni was about 18-month-old, a wart appeared on her right arm, said Dr Rahman.
