Two people have been killed and two others injured when a bus hit a pickup van in Ekdala area in Sadar upazila of Natore, UNB reports.

The deceased were identified as Rajon Kumar Ghosh, an egg trader and Rezaul Karim.

Shariful Islam, in-charge of Jhalmalia Highway Police Camp, said the accident took place in the area around 1:30 am on Thursday when a Dhaka-bound bus from Rajshahi hit a Puthia-bound egg-laden pickup van, leaving two pickup passengers killed in the spot and two others injured.

The injured were taken to local hospital.
