The authorities of Biman Bangladesh Airlines have cancelled one more scheduled hajj flight due to shortage of pilgrims for visa complications.
The authorities also postponed another flight and rescheduled new date.
The cancelled flight BG-5075 was scheduled to take off for Jeddah of Saudi Arabia at 7:35 am on Friday. The new date of postponed flight BG-7075 has been rescheduled at 12:30 pm on Monday.
With these, a total of 24 dedicated hajj flights have been cancelled so far since the first day of hajj flight operation on July 24.
Some 127,198 pilgrims were scheduled to perform hajj from Bangladesh this year under government and private managements..
