The local administration has withdrawn the restriction on entry of tourists to Madhabkunda waterfall and eco-park in Baralekha upazila of Moulbibazar.
Madhabkunda waterfall was closed to tourists since June 22 after a trail leading to the site caved in partially following heavy rains.
The waterfall was reopened to tourists from Sunday after renovation of the damaged area on emergency basis, said a press release signed by Sylhet Division forest officer RSM Monirul Islam.
Forest department and locals said stairs have been constructed in collapsed area near to Parjaton Restaurant. Waterfall-bound roads have been repaired with sandbags.
