Grand reunion of Jamalpur Hasil Higher Secondary School held

The first grand reunion-2017 of Hasil Higher Secondary School was held amid festivity and fanfare at the school premises at Deflibari in Jamalpur on September 03.

 

Marking the function former students and teachers of the school brought out a colourful rally wearing T-shirts led by the President of Hasil Higher Secondary School Engineer Mohammad Nurul Islam from the school premises that ended at school’s Mukto Mancha around 10:30am.

 

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jamalpur district Russel Sabrin inaugurated the function as the chief guest while President of Hasil Higher Secondary School Engineer Mohammad Nurul Islam presided over the programme.

 

In his speech, Russel Sabrin said: “Hasil Higher Secondary School is already considered as one of the best educational institutions of Jamalpur.”

 

“Hopefully, the school will be the best educational institution in the country very soon. I convey my best wishes for Hasil Higher Secondary School and its uninterrupted success story,” he added.

 

Engineer Mohammad Nurul Islam delivered the welcome speech.

 

He said: “Welcome everyone to join such a grand reunion.

I am very happy to see all beautiful faces. I could not think that the school would be so big one day.”

 

“My dream comes true. Here, students from 100 villages are studying. I believe students from all over Bangladesh will come here to study in future,” he added.

 

The programme started amid recitation from the Holy Quran.

 

Later, a reminiscence session, a stunning cultural function and raffle draw were held.

 

More than 700 participants from batch 2004-2017 attended the grand reunion programme. The former teachers were also present at the gala function. Presence of former students and teachers turned the occasion into an event of joy and happiness.

 

Fazlur Rahman from 2007 batch and Kamrul Islam Kanon from 2011 helped organise the grand reunion programme.
