Rangpur schoolteacher missing for five days


A schoolteacher of Nidhiram Junior Secondary girls’ school in Pirganj upazila has been missing for five days.


The missing man is, Nayeb Ali Akando, 40, an assistant teacher of the school and son of Abdul Kayum Kabiraj of Moheshpur village of the upazila, reports UNB.


Nayeb Ali is also an activist of Pirganj upazila unit BNP.


Family sources said Nayeb Ali went out of the house to register his motorcycle at BRTA Rangpur district office on Wednesday last.


Since then he has remained missing the last five days. His mobile phone was also found switched off.


Forhad Ahmed Momin, a younger brother of the victim filed a case with Pirganj police station on September 7.
