Police recovered the decomposed body of a man from water body at Batikadanga village in Chuadanga Sadar upazila on Thursday, after he went missing nearly a month back.
Quoting family members, police said Faruk Hossain, 45, a farmer went missing after he had gone out from home to go to his farmland on August 27.
Later, a general diary was lodged with Sadar Police Station in this regard.
On Thursday evening, locals spotted the body at the water body and informed police, said Golam Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
Police then recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, reports UNB.
