A three-day international exhibition on power and renewable energy will be held at the International Conference City, Bashundhara, in the city on October 26-28.
Event management firm - CEMS - will organize the mega expo on power generation and transmission, solar power and renewable energy in partnership with leading private company Rahimafrooz Group.
Alongside the power expo, some other exhibitions in construction materials, real-estate, safety and security will also be held at the same venue at the same time.
Some 250 firms from 15 countries are participating in the events to showcase their products and services, said Mehrin N Islam, president of CEMS, while addressing a press conference at Jatiya Press Club on Sunday.
Prime Minister's Advisor HT Imam will inaugurate the expo while business dignitaries will be present in the inaugural sessions.
The events were tiled as 19th Power Bangladesh Expo, 14th Solar Bangladesh Expo, 21st Con-Expo, 18th Real Estate Expo and 2nd International Safety and Security Expo.
The countries from which business firms are taking part in the expo include, India, Russia, Japan, USA, Singapore, England, Malaysia, China, UAE, South Korea, Italy, Germany and Turkey.
