A Dhaka court started hearing arguments on Monday in connection with two cases filed over grisly August 21 grenade attack in 2004.
Judge Shahed Nuruddin of Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal-1 recorded the arguments of prosecution lawyers and fixed Tuesday for the next date of hearing.
Syed Rezaur Rahman, the chief public prosecutor in the cases, placed arguments before court.
On October 11, the court fixed Monday for starting hearing arguments on completion of recording statements of prosecution and defence witnesses.
The tribunal recorded statements of 225 out of 511 prosecution witnesses and 20 defence witnesses.
