A discussion meeting on the late litterateur Humayun Ahmed will be held Friday in the main auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum.
The national museum will organise the discussion meeting ahead of Humayun’s 69th birth anniversary on November 13.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu will be present as chief guest while chairman of the Bangladesh Civil Service Commission Dr. Mohammad Sadiq will preside over the event.
Chief Executive Officer of Annyaprakash Mazharul Islam, Meher Afroz Shaon, the widow of Humayun Ahmed, and popular actor Mahfuz Ahmed will discuss the life and works of the writer, dramatist, and filmmaker.
A powerful voice in the Bangladesh literary world and clearly the most popular writer of the country, Humayun Ahmed, was born on November 13 of 1948 in Netrokona District.
