Bounty declared to arrest killers of Brahmanbaria AL leader

The Brahmanbaria  police on Sunday declared bounty of Tk two lakh for information leading to the arrest of the killers of Swapna Akhter, women affairs secretary of Nabinagar upazila Awami League, UNB reports.

Additional Police Superintendent of the district (Nabinagar Circle) Chittaranjan Pal announced the bounty after visiting the victim's house.

Meanwhile, police have managed to arrest three of the suspects while no significant advancement was visible in investigation after 11 days into the gruesome murder.

On November 22, Swapna Akhter was killed in an attack by miscreants while she was returning home at Charpara village by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw after attending a party programme.
