The new documentary Seemantorekha (The Borderline) by noted short filmmaker Tanvir Mokammel will be screened at Shawkat Osman Auditorium, Central Public Library, in the capital city on December 5 and 6.
The show has been arranged marking 70th anniversary of the Partition of Bengal.
The movie will be screened at 4.30 pm and 7:00 pm while tickets will be available at the entrance of the venue.
Filmmaker and writer Tanvir Mokammel was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2017 while he won a total of nine Bangladesh national film awards for the films Nodir Naam Modhumoti (1995), Chitra Nodir Pare (1999) and Lalsalu (2001).
He has made six full-length feature films and fourteen documentaries.
The film director Mokammel is now the director of Bangladesh Film Institute (BFI) and Bangladesh Film Centre (BFC).
