Rangpur Riders step into final beating Comilla Victorians by 36 runs

Rangpur Riders elevated into the final beating Comilla Victorians by 36 runs in the second qualifier match of AKS Bangladesh premier league T20 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka.

They will take on Dhaka Dynamites in the final berth tomorrow (Tuesday).

Riders’ West Indian recruit Charles stroke a magnificent ton of unbeaten 105 off 63 and New Zealand recruit Mccullam stroke 78 off 46.

Earlier they finished fourth on the league table, but have done extremely well to demolish both Khulna Titans and Comilla Victorians to secure their spot in the big clash.

Rangpur Riders have scored 192 runs losing only three wickets in all 20 overs by the aesthetic record partnership between Johnson Charles and Brendon McCullum.

It was a make-shift reserve day in Mirpur as the Qualifier 2 match in BPL 17 between Comilla Victorians and Rangpur Riders was delayed due to rain on Sunday.
