6 including Indian citizen killed in Faridpur road crashes

At least five people, including an Indian citizen have been killed and 22 others injured in separate road accidents in Faridpur district.

 

Senior Station Master of Faridpur Fire Service Md Saifuzzaman said a bus of 'Eagle Paribahan' coming from Kolkata plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the wheels on Tuesday morning.

 

The road crash killed two people on the spot and injured 22 others, he said.

 

Among the injured, Indian citizen Sushanta Manda, a resident of Barasha in India, died on the way to Faridpur Medical College and Hospital.

 

Meanwhile, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Md Ezazuddin said a truck hit another brick-laden truck which was parked in Pulia Bazar area of Bhanga on Dhaka-Mawa-Khulna Highway around 9am on Tuesday, killing three people on the spot.

 

The deceased were identified as Milon Molla, 26, Chan Mia, 35, and Rinku all of them are the residents of Shibchar in Madaripur.
