MCQ to be abolished in public exams to stop question leak

On the backdrop of unabated question paper leak in the public examinations, State Minister for Education Kazi Keramat Ali on Monday said that multiple choice questions [MCQ] will be abolished in phases in public examinations.

He came up with the statement while participating in the thanksgiving motion on the president’s speech in the parliament.

“The opportunity of leaking question paper will be shortened if MCQ is abolished in the examination,” he said.

The state minister further said, “Therefore, MCQ will be dropped in phases in the public examination.”

A vested quarter is trying to embarrass the government through leaking question papers in the ongoing SSC examination to fulfill their ulterior motives.
