Police don't obstruct any peaceful BNP programme: Asaduzzaman

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said police don't interfere in any peaceful programme of the BNP.

 

"Police don't restraint BNP or others from holding any peaceful political or social programees," he told while unveiling cover of a auto-biography 'Jibon Smriti-2' written by a freedom fighter Humayun Kabir at Ostad Alauddin Khan municipality auditorium in Brahmanbaria, reports BSS.

 

Asked about permission of holing rally by BNP on February 22 in Dhaka, he said, "The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has earlier imposed a ban on holding rallies and the ban has not yet been lifted."

 

Brahmanbaria Municipality Mayor Nayar Kabir presided over the function.

 

Among others, R.A.M Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury, MP, deputy inspector general of police (Chittagong range) Md Moniruzzaman, deputy commissioner Rezwanur Rahman, police super Mizanur Rahman and district Awami League general secretary Al Mamun Sarker, spoke on the occasion.
