Arifin Shuvo finds home connection in Kolkata while shooting for ‘Aha Re’

Arifin Shuvo, aptly regarded as Bangladeshi film industry’s most popular hero right now, is all set for his grand Tollywood debut opposite Bengali beauty Rituparna Sengupta. The dashing actor has already wrapped up shooting for ‘Aha Re’ in some of the prime locations in Kolkata.

In this Ranjan Ghosh directorial, Arifin will be seen as a well-established chef from Bangladesh, who gets involved with an Indian home cook played by Rituparna. During a recent interview, Arifin was quite excited to share his experience of shooting in Kolkata. The Bangladeshi actor revealed that a few shots were taken in some renowned fish and vegetable markets of Kolkata. He claims these markets are just like the Dhaka fish and vegetable markets, reports TNN.

Arifin Shuvo will also be seen as one of the leads in popular director Arindam Sil's 'Balighawr'.

The swaggering, moustachioed hero’s rapid rise to fame in Bangladeshi industry is really impressive given the relatively short span of his career. The actor first burst into mainstream stardom with the 2010 sports drama ‘Jaago’.
