The two-day polls to elect leaders of Supreme Court (SC) Bar Association for 2018-19 will be held on March 21 and 22.
The interested candidates will be able to collect and submit nomination paper from March 1 to 11. The nomination papers will be scrutinized on 5.30 pm of March 11 and candidates can withdraw their candidacy on March 14.
A total of 6,212 members of the association are eligible to cast their ballots and the polling will go from 10 am to 5 pm on every scheduled day with one hour recess in the middle.
Candidates will vie for a total of 14 posts of executive committee including the posts of president and general secretary.
Meanwhile, pro-independent White Panel finalized their candidates at a meeting on Sunday. It nominated former president of the bar and senior jurist advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun and Sheikh Mohammad Morshed to vie for the posts of president and general secretary respectively.
