President condoles deaths in aircraft crash

 

President Abdul Hamid on Monday expressed profound shock at the loss of lives in the crash of an aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu of Nepal on Monday. 

 

President's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told journalist that Abdul Hamid prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved families, reports UNB.

 

At least 50 people died as an aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines from Dhaka to Kathmandu crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of the Himalayan country on Monday.

 

Many injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, officials said.
