Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim on Friday said the government has taken all out preparations to give treatment of the victims who were injured in deadly the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
The minister came up with this assurance at a press conference at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Friday.
"We have already taken all out preparations under the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina...We have also taken measures so that no negligence is taken place in the treatment," Nasim said.
The press conference was held following his visit to injured Shahrin Ahmed at Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of DMCH.
The minister urged the people not to gather at Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of DMCH to see the victims.
Burn Unit Coordinator Dr Samanto Lal was also present in the press conference.
A Bombardier Dash 8 of US-Bangla with 71 people slammed on an empty field and burst into flames at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal on Monday.
At least 28 Bangladeshis were among the dead. The country yesterday observed a day of mourning.
