CHATTOGRAM: Peninsula Warriors were crowned as champion in the day-long cricket tournament 'Peninsula Premier League 2023' held in the port city on Thursday.

The tournament was organised by The Peninsula Chittagong Limited, a luxury hotel, located in the city's GEC area.

Peninsula Gladiators ended as runner up after giving a tough fight to the champions at the final held at Chittagong Kwality School Cricket Ground.

Ispahani Tea Limited supported the tournament as the title sponsor.

Four inter-department teams, raising their flags, participated in the tournament.

The heads of departments along with all associates were there throughout for supporting their teams and making the tournament a fun filled event to remember.

Ranks FC Properties Limited Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tanvir Shahriar Rimon, The Peninsula Chittagong General Manager Sumedha Gunawardana, Ispahani Tea Limited Chittagong Division Senior Divisional Manager Chy Md Abu Hena Mustafa Helal and Wing Manager Md Nur Nabi were present among others during the closing ceremony and handed the prizes over.
