Giasuddin Selim-directed movie “Kajol Rekha” will be released in theatres across the country and abroad on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. The campaign for the movie is now going on with full swing.

The release date of the movie was announced through a gala event at a five-star hotel in the capital’s Banani area on Saturday. Two posters of the movie were also unveiled as part of the promotion at the programme. One is an international poster and the other is a festival poster. However, it has been informed that the new poster for theatre release will be unveiled soon.

 The movie “Kajalrekha” is based on the 16th century Mymensingh song “Kajol Rekha”.The movie has been described as a “musical film” by the director Giasuddin Salim. It has about twenty songs. Four songs have already been released.

 Actors Shariful Razz,   Mondera Chakroborty, Iresh Zaker, Azad Abul Kalam, Shahana Rahman Sumi, Mithila, Khairul Basar, Sadia Ayman and others have played important roles in the movie.
