The Department of Media and Mass Communication (MMC) of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized a field trip and a day-long photography workshop at Panchaboti, Gazipur for the MMC students where they got opportunity to hone their photography and visual storytelling skills amidst the stunning natural landscape.

The field trip, coordinated by esteemed faculty members Mr. Niaz Majumdar and Ms. Nasrin Akter, took place on Saturday (2 March 2024), said a press release.

The release reads, “As part of their Digital Photography and Photojournalism course, students received hands-on training in photography practices and the art of storytelling through imagery under the guidance of their respective teachers.”

“Panchaboti garden, renowned for her picturesque scenery boasting a myriad of plants, trees, flowers, birds, and water bodies, served as the perfect backdrop for the students to explore and refine their craft. It was not only a journey into the world of photography but also a profound learning experience,” it added.
