National Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury has garnered immense appreciation for his impeccable performances over the years. He has made a mark in Bangladesh and also in Kolkata through his brilliant performances. Today marks the 51st birthday of the star.

Suchinta Chowdhury Chanchal known as Chanchal Chowdhury is one of the most celebrated actors of the country. He was born in Pabna on 1 June 1991.  

He started his career with the theatre troupe Aranyak in 1996. Then, he worked on stage for 10 years continuously. In his theatre career, Chanchal performed in many popular plays including “Prakritojoner Kotha”, “Joyjoyonti”, “Ora Kodom Ali”, “Mayur Singhason”, “Songkranti”, “Rarang” and “Che-er Cycle”.

During this period, he played minor roles in different television dramas as well. The first drama he acted as a lead role in was “Grash” directed by Faridur Rahman. Later he appeared in many television projects. The actor also acted in films.

Chanchal Chowdhury’s upcoming film “Padatik” is based on the life of legendary filmmaker Mrinal Sen. He has played the role of Mrinal Sen in the movie. Noted Indian filmmaker Srijit Mukherji has directed the film.

The actor will also be seen as the antagonist in Raihan Rafi’s film “Toofan” with superstar Shakib Khan.
