The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Sunday hosted participants of the Armed Forces War Course 2024 (AFWC 2024) from the National Defence College (NDC), marking a step towards deeper collaboration between diplomacy and national security.

Foreign Secretary Ambassador Masud Bin Momen, the Chief Guest, emphasized the critical role of diplomacy in global peace and security. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Bangladesh Armed Forces and MOFA in achieving national objectives and praised the Armed Forces' commitment to professional education.

Ambassador Md. Nazrul Islam, Additional Foreign Secretary (Bilateral), delivered a keynote on the interplay between diplomacy and security, stressing a comprehensive approach to contemporary challenges.

Director General (Administration) D.M. Salah Uddin Mahmud welcomed the delegates, according to a press release from the ministry.

Lt Col Md Mamun Muntasir Haque, Inf of AFWC 2024, expressed gratitude for MOFA's insightful programme, promoting understanding and cooperation between military and diplomatic circles.

The visit concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, reaffirming the commitment to fostering enduring ties between AFWC participants and MOFA. This event underscored the shared vision of integrating diplomatic and security efforts to safeguard national interests.
